Is that sNug with an N, or sMug with an M?

Saturday, March 27, 2010

OK, admit it, you have a pair of jeans hidden in a drawer or a closet somewhere that you dream of getting back into. Am I right?

Well, a funny thing happened to my skinny jeans, the ones I HOPED I might fit again if my efforts were successful. They became so loose I am no longer comfy wearing them. Today I bought a new pair of skinny jeans, with a 30 inch waist. Me! I can't believe it. But then again, I can. Feels gooooood!

emoticon emoticon Go, K State!

Well, looks like all my sentimental faves are being knocked out by the men from Butler! emoticon Gotta give 'em credit, they are playing like champions.

    Awesome Barb! You have arrived!

I rec'd a bit of a boost too. This past weekend, I went thru my closet to change over for the season - tried on stuff that finally fit! ... but had a laugh because it was so dated that I got rid of it anyway. I went shopping yesterday and got a nice lift by getting in some (sized big) size 10 pants! Mostly the 12's were what were fitting ... but that was better than the sz 14's I've been wearing! It felt great.

That's a mighty small pair of skinny jeans -- and just an awesome feeling I'm sure. I'm with Mary (COOKME123) -- I have the large clothes I cannot believe I ever wore (let alone were in danger of not being able to wear). The small ones are all packed away in bins that have been sealed for more than 20 years! It will be like a time capsule some day when I open them to see what I wanted to wear so badly in 1989. LOL!!!!

Congrats to you, that is awsome. I do have a pair of skinny jeans. I was only skinny once in my life, I had lost 80 pounds I kept it off for about 2 years. I kept my favorite pair of jeans and I am looking forward to wearing them again some day.
    You are a great inspiration.

I was rooting for K-State Purple Pride too and it was a good game - Indiana just played a little more defensively. What a great last few minutes!!

Awesome about the jeans. I was able to get into my size 14's and now working on some 12's I have in the top of my closet. When I am able to get into them, I am going to treat myself to a new pair.

Take care and keep up the good work.

BTW - I think it should be "sMug" with a huge M! Congrats.

I was too fat for jeans most of my life! But I did have 2 pair of pants that I made myself when I last had gotten to 148 lbs.

It was a happy day when I had to finally get rid of them for being too darn big!

WTG on your new skinny jeans!

That is AWESOME! I'm one of those, though, that doesn't have a pair of skinny jeans, as I've never been skinny. I did save the largest pair of jeans I ever wore (size 26) and I was growing out of 'em. Every once in a while I pull them out and put them on as a reminder of where I NEVER want to go again.

Congratulations on the new skinny jeans. A perfect reward for such great progress.
