Okay, weight hasn't budget since about a week - considering that during the recent week of "OMG have to finish this paper now" I lived practically of coffee, sleep deprivation and sugar, that's actually something to be grateful for.

Basically, my weight patiently waited for me to pick up a healthy life-style again. Rather like a clever kid when it looses sight of it's mother: Stay were you are, I'll come back.

The old me would fret, but I've had to "very healthy" days in a row, I'm using the ancient stair master that has been collecting dust for, oh, two years, and I know that if my weight doesn't go down today, it'll go down tomorrow. Or the day after that. But it will, even with the occasional 2/3 ounce of chocolate, and that's what matters.

Hello, JULIA75. I can relate to what you are saying about the "old me..or you." I compare many moments now to how I would have reacted as the "old me." We have had several deaths in the family this year and it 's been very difficult, but I did not slip back into old ways of eating a bag of chips or eating constantly. I really didn't even have to think about it, either...I didn't want any of it nor did I want to over eat.

Plateaus happen and you have a good attitude about it. Keep up the good work.
