Last night after dinner, I just wasn't satiated. I waited a while to see if it would go away, but after two hours, even after having a banana and a small slice of cheese, I was antsy and hungry. I dug around in the fridge and found some left over au gratin and had a cup of it...that's what I needed--carbs...I didn't "over eat", but I did eat over my set goal amount (1500-1800) cals a day---I ended up with 1974. It was still a negative calorie day, just not as much as I would have liked. Today I'll get a subway sandwich. I'm getting carb deprived again and that causes me to crave carbs. It's weird--I'm on a low fat diet, and not getting enough carbs. LOL
But keeping a diary has really benefited me. I can see in black and white, on a graph, what nutrients, carbs, fats, etc. I am getting and what I'm lacking. Now I can deal with hunger and cravings so much better when I can tell what my body NEEDS and why it is sending me "eat" signals. "Eat" signals mean "Body needs___". Now I can figure out what it needs!
