3-22-2010. Well, it has been a couple of weeks now since I started, but I have to admit that it has been one step forward and two steps back. I have been doing better on my eating, overall, but am still having trouble in the evenings with my snacking. As for exercise, definitely been doing more than before, but still not enough, and not consistently. Since I know from experience that strength training is definitely the best way to tone your body, I recently "found" out about kettlebells, through a friend, and decided to try them. The very first day I tried them, I actually enjoyed it, but then I couldn't walk for the next two days! :-) It is absolutely a full-body workout!! I just did the workout again for the second time yesterday, and although I am sore, it is definitely not as bad as the first time. I think this is something that I can continue to enjoy, and stick with. I have also just discovered a "dance" workout called ZUMBA. I checked out a local class, and it looks like a LOT of fun. I'll keep you posted on what happens with that.
