Here is a video of one of the babies (not Denty) actually hatching. It is a little bit long, but WOW! The baby emerges right before your eyes!

It has been so long since I have watched a hatchling fight it's way out of it's egg. It is still a miracle to see. One wants to help but really the little tike has to make it's way out on its own since it is gathering strength through the process. It is an event for your students that they will never forget. Well done "teacher/mom"!

It has been a long time since I have seen a chick born. Thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to the children's excitement. The children are truly blessed to have a teacher that gives them experiences like this. Being from a farm wish more children had the chance to observe where their food really comes from.

Cool! I love baby birds! I have a pair of white Zebra finches who are on their second brood. I have six grandbirdies! I have a picture of two of them on my SparkPage.

Just read and watched the last few blogs....Your children at school are very lucky to have a teacher like you who will go the extra distance with them it helps that you LOVE it. I spent 10 years in early childhood (steiner trained) and loved it too. We had animals and gardens etc. Cleva xxx emoticon

It is working for me. it is a little long, so it may take a minute to load. Once it gets started, you can fast forward it past the slow parts.
