Sorry this is going to be short and sweet. I put myself on a sparking timer tonight and I am over by 1/2 hr....old habits die hard. I did promise myself some quiet me time just meditating and reading before bed tonight.
Brought home mexican for my sis tonight from her favorite place. She had our usual, but I changed things up for me. Ususally have three dorados (fried tacos) with rice, beans, cheese and a LARGE horchata - sweet spiced rice milk. I had shrimp diablo and rice no beans and saved half of the rice, with 3 slivers of avocado and one and a half small corn tortillas,lettuce and tomato.
That was really stepping out on a limb of faith since I hadn't a chance to track the food I'd eaten so far today. I had everything written down though and after dinner tracked all my food for the day and I had enough left for a skinny cow ice cream sandwich and a turtle candy for my snack - I know, not exactly healthy, but I was soooo happy for making such wise choices the rest of the day - I deserved a treat and still was within all my limits.
Did twenty five minutes of stretching and upper body ST .... my right calf is still sore from what I assume is running in the new shoes. My gaait is definately different. Tomorrow may be light also, I don't want to injure anything this close to the race (May)....still have a long way to go and can't afford to hurt myself now.
Hope you are all well...tried to make contact with as many of you as possible. I will do more tomorrow and Sunday is my day off, so it'sd catch up day.
