Getting back on track...

So I pushed my luck.... what am I saying I ate like crap this last week, allowing the lack of sleep and the stress from the sale get the best of me! I am paying for it in the form of 2.5 lbs! I have returned to bringing my lunch to work - not allowing myself the "liberties" I had reincorporated into my "routine" . . . I have a mid point weight in for a weight loss/fundraiser on saturday and need for these extra pounds to disappear!! Glad the my daughter is cared for during spring break - that was I can stay at the gym for longer and not feel so guilty!

I hope everyone is well and keeping on :o)

BTW I made $835 at the garage sale for Breast Cancer Awareness and the Cure...

    Congratulations on your sale. I'm going to support a friend's fundraising efforts for the 2010 3-day. Sounds like you're doing great things. No worries over the 2.5. That'll go away fast.

as for your break, you'll be alright. that 2.5 is going to disappear fast. i see that kind of thing happen over the holidays. a little weight comes on with the excess of food and decrease in exercise, but that extra weight doesn't really want to be there.

to me it seems as if your body has set a new thermostat level for weight. if i get back on track with my routine, the "holiday" weight drops off at least as fast as it got there. it's like the routine reminds my body that i'm not really that weight. if i don't go back to exercise, the weight has a chance to get comfortable and settle in, and that's the only thing you have to worry about.

don't forget that you've got a life in addition to weight loss; it's not your job. 2 months from now, you won't notice that you had a little extra this week.
