I ran across the Eat Right 4 Your Type book by D'adamo. It's quite interesting. I already know that I have PCOS and insulin resistance which means that I have an increased risk of diabetes, endometrial cancer, elevated cholesterol, heart disease and a whole long list of other wonderful things. According to my blood type I should eat mostly fruits and veggies, very little poultry, no red meat (cry!!!), and very little wheat. There are other whole grains that are good for me and so I'm working with those. Today is day 3 and I'm doing pretty well. I've even found a soy milk that I like. I've also cut out artificial sweeteners and have cut myself down to one soda per day.
