OK first day back...

Well, I didn't wake up in time to run, but I did get in some good exercise today. I'll have to run tomorrow to make up for it though.
I got to hike through snow, at times hip-deep, to the summit of West Mountain and back down again, which took about 3 hours. That wouldn't be so bad, but it's a steep grade and I had my 40 pounds of safety equipment, water, light-bulbs, etc. hanging from me. At the top, I got to climb a short tower before heading down.
I drove straight from there to our Monday night SAR meeting; well, almost straight there, I caved in and got a burger at Carl's Junior on the way. But since I burned like 3000 calories today, I consider it fair.
When I got home, I forced myself to do my strength exercises and I did a circuit of: push-ups, pull-ups, hanging crunches, and jump-rope.
So, like I said, I didn't make it up in the morning to run, but I am definitely tired!
