So daylight savings is messing up my circadian rhythms. I did however drag myself out of bed and do Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds for Abs. Snooze. it wasn't all that fun or exciting, it required the walk belt which I have grown to hate, mainly because my arms are short and in order to get any benefit out of it I can't hold the handles and it moves around when I'm trying to pull at it. Plus, if I wear it over the layers I have on for sleeping (because I'm cheap with the heat) I'm unable to peel off the top layer when I warm up. I didn't love it. I don't remember loving the other workout on this DVD, and there is only one more to go before the possibility of the whole thing heading out the door.
This evening I did Crunch Belly Butt and Thigh Bootcamp. I kinda loved it. It was different and silly with the instructor and her bootcamp references. For the first time ever I was able to do bridges with one leg lifted. Now I don't know if this is because I'm getting stronger or if there are so few reps of each exercise in this one I wasn't threatened to try. In addition to that, I did squat thrusts, which I hate as a general rule, but there were only 4 of them and there was a pushup in between which I managed to stay on my toes for. They were done at a slower pace and werent as intimidating. The only thing that bothered me about this whole DVD was that the background exercisers are encouraged to make noise which generally doesn't bother me, but they sounded like they were on a rollercoaster wooooohooooooooooooohooooo. It's not enough to keep me away from this one though.
Lastly I did Yummy Yoga, a holdover from the weekend. It was neither yummy nor yoga. It's a weird clenching and unclenching pattern that is supposed to easy your muscles into relaxation. Not so much, sensitive ponytail man has moved up a notch in my book. The sad thing is, I have done this workout before and it didn't get into the go pile that time. Why? Maybe I am a hoarder. If I got the newspaper I would probably be in trouble. In the meantime however I am riding the wave of this spring cleaning and putting it in the to go box.
