Week 1 of the 5% challenge

Friday, March 12, 2010

Week 1 of the 5% challenge has been a busy one! I am a leader on the Lady Bugs team, and our team has been moving!!! The energy on the team is awesome and we are all doing what we can do to meet the challenges and exceed them! I am so glad that I decided to become a leader in this challenge. It is giving me the kick in the pants that I needed to get moving again, instead of just playing at getting it done. The team is a very diverse group, and everyone is doing their best to get it done. The energy, the excitement that we have going is awesome! We all feed off each other and push each other to do more, to get to the goal.

I love being a Lady Bug!!!

Also this week, my daughter was in a concert on Thursday night. I switched shifts so that I would be able to go to it. The kids are all 5th graders that they brought together from the 5 different elementary schools in the district. Gave them 4 hours of practice time together as a group, and they were great! It sounded as if they practiced together all the time.

Bless you for choosing to be a leader of your awesome team. I'm sure it's no easy task, but I'm glad you were up for the challenge.

You're such a dedicated mother to change your work schedule to attend your daughter's concert. I bet your daughter really appreciated your presence. I'm so glad the kids did so well!
