I went to hypnotheraphy for weight loss approximately 2.5 weeks ago. I am excited to say that I am down 8.5 pounds so far!
I've always known what to do to lose weight. Eat healthy and control portions, keep hydrated, and exercise. However, I could never do everything all at once for any significant period of time. In other words, I could never "get it together".
So far things are finally going great and I feel like I am beginning a new life. I am eating mostly "Super Foods" (vegetables), white meat (chicken and turkey) and fish, and nothing is prohibited. I'm finding that I no longer want the bad stuff. If I have a craving, I'm able to resist and it passes quickly. Eating is no longer the highlight of my day.
I am looking forward to exercise daily - as it is now just another part of my day, not something that I HAVE to do. I always had the excuse that I didn't have time or I was too tired. I really AM a busy person - do alot of traveling for work - don't have anyone to help me do my yard work, house work, cook, clean... But I've learned to prioritize.
I am admitting that I CAN'T do everything. If it comes between cleaning my bathtub and exercising, I will exercise. What's the worse that could happen with the bathtub if I don't clean it? What's the worse that could happen if I don't exercise?
More hydration comes easily now. I drink something every 20-30 minutes. Anything counts as long as it does not have sugar in it. It is alot easier than only being able to count water. It can be coffee, diet sodas, water, tea - anything without added sugar. I am drinking 1/2 my body weight in ounces each day.
I plan on things continuing to go well for me. I am so excited for my May vacation and to finally be at a healthy weight this summer!
