Help! I'm stuck!!!

I've hit a major plateau and I'm not sure what to do!! I want to get past this ASAP as summer time is coming up. My work out partner and I have been doing a lot of weight training lately, so I'm thinking it's time to start hitting the cardio HARDCORE!!!

I want to get into running again, but I know this is TMI but I have LARGE breasts and even when I wear 2 sports bras or ones that are small they still seem to give me a hard time. Especially in the back department.

Anyhoo....does anyone have any suggestions to get unstuck?? Is running really the best fat burner? I need to know because this is just frustrating. emoticon

    Hey girl - #1 - I had to invest in an expensive, but SOOO worth it, nice sports bra that I only wear when I run. #2 - try spin class! It isn't as much bouncing and I burn about 800 to 850 calories in there! For the same amount of time running, I burn about 900 calories...so very comparable without as much strain on the body/boobs ;)

    do HIT, which is high intensencety training.
you start off at a good pace were you can talk, do that for 3 to 4 min. then you go as fast as you can for up to 1 min or more. then slow down till you catch your breath and back to float out. you do this for 30 to 60 mins a day and you calorie burn will last up to 24hrs.

  Kick boxing is a high calorie burning workout. Try Taebo! That works. Mabye you're body is used to the same exercise you've been doing. Try something new. I've been stuck at the same weight for over a month now and it's very frustraiting. Good luck!

    If your passion is running (or anything aerobic) ...have you ever tried a smaller cup size just with your support sports bra? I'm uncomfortable when I do anything aerobic that jiggles me too much.

    Your fitness and exercise is not public on your sparkpage, so I couldn't look at that to try and give you some ideas... You might want to open that up.

I find personally that running is not the best for me. I too have large breasts and they really hurt after running even though I wear a sports bra from LadiesOnlySports.com (which is the best sports bra for large breasts that I've found). I've lost close to 85 lbs now with walking an hour or more 6 days a week and watching my diet here on sparkpeople. If you look at my records (which I have chosen to make public) you will see that I keep track almost everyday too!

    Have you tried 12,000 steps a day? No need to run to get your cardio in . . . The Step Diet works for other people . . .

    The elliptical machine is great for low impact and should reduce the problem you're having with your sports bras. I never liked running until I had my breast reduction surgery. Large breasts and running just don't mix.
