Day 5 Vegan

I am doing the 21 day Vegan challenge. I had often thought of going Vegan so I thought why not and signed up. I am loving it. The first day I felt so,so, but all has been getting better by the day.
I am actually sleeping some now, I fell more alive and energized also.
I do need to work on getting my protein up a little I am barely getting the min most days and a few I am under like today. I guess that is b/c I'm doing mostly raw foods. I only eat 1 cooked meal a day. I don't want to eat more raw nuts though or then I'll be over on my fats,so I am working on this part but it has only been 5 days I will figure it out. I did get a Vegan cookbook from the library and plan to try somethings from it next week.
These veggie dishes are all new to me I come from a family of hunters and you ate meat for every meal. My grandfather said only those weird peace loving hippies stay away from meat, guess I'm a hippie now. LOL
I am going to have to work on my fear of trying new foods this week I bought some almond breeze to try, next week I might try some type of new bean.
