My first yoga class!

Friday, March 05, 2010

So – I have the opportunity to attend a weekend course in yoga and meditation. It is the cancerfund who sponsors the food and lodging and the people who leads the sessions are voluntary. I have driven 400 km today and we are ten people participating. As I understand it I am the only one who is not cancer sick for the moment (as far as I know) the others have had relapses and are considered incurable which gives this course a very special flavor

We eat healthy organic vegetarian food and today we have had one session with yoga and one with meditating breathing.

It has been very rewarding and I am really grateful for having the opportunity to participate and learn and also to meet these outstanding people.

Thanks for reading

Great way to spend weekend, friend!
I believe and like yoga a lot.Interesting and teaching experience being among those special people.I think that if one manages to go beyond the possible sad feelings automatically raised, he can see and savour courage, life solutions, and sometimes pure wise thinking from real survivors!
Was it like that for you?
How did you feel?
