Doing it again - counting down the days

Tuesday, March 02, 2010

Im counting down the days through March
Making healthy choices on a daily basis.
Today I took my nutrients, exercised {strength} and some walking, ate my fiber, veggies, and my fruit. I feel good about today.
I see the cardiologist on Friday - boy that was a long month wait! Woo!
I want to continue my journey feeling better about ME, changing ME.

I think often of Jesus days on the earth.
Back in His day - there wasnt processed food, transportation as we know it, medications nor polution of air, water and land as we know it.
They walked everywhere {mostly}, ate what fruits and veggies they grew, baked their own bread, ect. They were not infected by polution in their soil, water or air. Ok maybe I am generalizing - my point is: they were healthier because the things we are working so hard to attain on Spark - they were just a given back in Jesus day. Natural foods, exercise, no processed foods, and healthier living. Life was slower then we know it.

Here is to healthier living! Making healthy choices every day in everyway possible.
God Bless
jeanla

Progress has not necessarily been our friend. I know what you mean about the differences in Jesus time although they had plenty of other things to worry about. Things they did not have choices about. Praise God that for us it is just about good and bad choices.

    Here's to a Great March.

It does seem they had a lot less choices that seem to not always be helpful to us.
Let us know how your appointment goes on Friday!
