February was pretty disappointing weight loss wise. While my new lowered appetite kept me from gaining much weight, I spent the whole month bouncing around a few pounds above 224, and finally today I dropped back down to the same weight I was January 31st. Looks like just following my appetite isn't working anymore! So, time to start tracking again.
In the good news department, I finally found my missing swimsuit yesterday, so I am going to try to go swimming at least once this week. I love swimming so much, I can go and happily swim laps for an hour straight and still want more.
While I am still trying to lose weight, I am making my real long term goals be fitness related. I want to be able to squat, bench-press an dead-lift my own body weight and I really want to participate in some long distance swimming races, i.e. 3k, 5k or 10k swims. The later will be hard for me, since I'll need to find a swimming buddy so I can practice swimming in open water.
Still unemployed; but I have an interview today.
