Well it seems I have made it through another week. WI will be at a WW meeting tomorrow evening. I had a rather high calorie day today, so I hope it doesn't come back to haunt me!! However, it was a family breakfast, so if I don't show a loss, I am still happy for the day. I can be unhappy with myself / my choices, but the day was great!!!

I am questioning my work out tomorrow. I always thought it would be best to burn those calories before weigh in.. but... am hearing a different perspective these days! It seems some people do NOT work out prior to WI... have to do some "research" and decide on my Curves visit tomorrow!

I feel that overall I have had a great week. Whether I lose or not, I am positive that I am healthier today than I was even a week ago!!! emoticon

    Thanks to everyone... my SP weigh in shows a loss this week, of 1.4#
I have decided to keep it seperate from my WW WI (for now) since SP had always been a morning WI and WW is evening! We all know what morning vs night WIs do to your head!! Especially MINE?!!!

So I proudly report a 1.4# loss this week!!

I did not WO last MOnday, so I will not today... I will get back into it this week, and decide what next Monday will bring when it gets here!! I cannot worry NOW about next week!

    Question: Did you go to Curves before your WI last Monday night? A true comparison week to week would mean doing the same thing again. But also, doing the opposite might give you an idea how your workout affects your WI.

But of course you KNOW that the workout is good for you, whether it's good for that arbitrary scale number or not! I think the benefits of exercise should outweigh the benefits of seeing a big loss on the scale (pun intended). You know me, though... I totally get how that number can mess with our heads and attitudes, sending us into a downward spiral.

Whatever you decide, don't second guess and regret. Commit and move forward and remember the bigger picture!

    Hi carole! Yes, you should WI before you excercise. Muscle weighs more than fat and when you workout the muscles build up. So you will weigh more after working out than before.

Don't beat yourself up over breakfast with the family. As long as your overall goal is still in the works, think of it as a treat. As long as you excercise nad eat right the rest of the time, you should be able to reac h your goals. One family breakfast will not hurt that.

Keep up the good work!! You can do it!!!!
