Meat Challenge

Sunday, February 28, 2010

At the end of December, I decided to give up all meats and only do fruits and veggies for two months, well today is my last day,and about three days into this I was ready to quit, My co-workers would always say a little piece won't hurt you, they would sit pizza and chicken on my desk,i would take it back to them and thank them for their kindness, but let them know that I was serious about what I was doing. So at the end of my journey i have lost twenty five pounds and i really feel good about myself, I know this is a small accomplishment, but i didn't give up like I have sooo many times before. I don't know if I will stay totally meat free, but I do know I won't be eating it as much as I use to.

Good for you, but how do you do protein, just beans, or what? Congratulations in deed on your progress.

I think it s a great accomplishment. Do not belittle what you have done. You set your mind to do something and you had the strength and determination to reach your goal...regardless of what or who was around you. That is something to be proud over. CONGRATS on your weight loss, that is probably the icing on the cake.
