My knitting project...

Thursday, February 25, 2010

This is my very first knitting project. I've had so much fun making this scarf and will be anxious to show my hubby when he gets home tomorrow. With all the business trips he makes to New York, Chicago and Minneapolis, I think he'll appreciate this wool fuzzy scarf.

And one more to share....

Beautiful scarf. I wish I knew how to knit. I was looking online if there was somewhere to go to learn, but didn't come across anything. Years ago, in the 70's I knew how to crochet an afghan. A friend of mine in California made me some scarves and sent them to me. This year I have needed them. We got more snow today. Someone is selling a t-shrt with your saying on it Snowmaggedon. LOL

Your scarf is beautiful! I love knitting and am finally physically able to get back to it after taking a break for arthritis and carpal tunnel. Knitting is so relaxing and is a fun way to be creative and make cool gifts! ENJOY!! Your husband will love your gift!

How nice of you to show us the scarf in progress. I hope that we will also get to see the finished project draped around your hubby's neck. I know he will appreciate all the time and love that is going into it.

I agree -- the colors are gorgeous! Such a talented woman! I bet when you were working 24/7 you didn't have time for enjoyable activities like knitting. Isn't it wonderful that's changed?
Thanks for sharing your pictures!
