I'm up to 2.5 miles and my foot feels no worse. Just taking it very slow until pounds drop and foot is in better shape. My husband and I have started to jog together while our son is at karate class. The roads are drying out and it will soon be light for the whole hour. Has been fun using this time to discuss our days.
Would like to change my warm up routine to dynamic stretching I read about in Runner's World, but I keep forgetting.
Weightlifting 2x a week. Yoga 2x a week, although thus far I've only been getting in once a week. Been doing a little yoga stretch every morning and, of course, stretching bad foot while I brush my teeth.
I need to be at 3 miles by March 1 and 5.5 by April 1.
