Granddaughter Addison volunteering at age 5!

Wednesday, February 24, 2010

This grandma is so proud of my family and little Princess Addison is a shining example. Yesterday was Addy's 5th birthday and you know what her mommy (our awesome daughter) and she did? They volunteered at their church packaging meals to send to the eathquake victims in Haiti!

This is what Julie had to say about Addy doing this:

She did have fun and she knew where it was all going. "To the kids that had their houses fell down."

My heart is bursting with pride!!

Isn't it great to see kids do good things?! Our DD organized a benefit at the middle school for Haiti relief. It makes you proud when they're not all about themselves.
Great job Laurie!

You gotta love that feeling!! When our kids show how compassionate and giving and caring they are with the people around them.

You have a beautiful grand daughter there (who has a beautiful name...BTW. My wife's name). Good job Gmomma!!!
