DH and I were worried about the coming weather front here. We were supposed to leave Thusday AM for a trip to visit my MOM in TX. DS is going along too. Anyway, weather people are calling for a "winter hurricane" to rumble thru Wed night into Thursday. Not too much snow called for where I live but further north and east by the airport, things could be iffy on our chances of getting out.
While we were discussing our options, we received an automated call from Southwest advising us to change our flight if at all possible..... at no price increase!!! Luckily DS has off tomorrow, so I was able to rearrange all the travel details...rebooked the airline reservations, printed off the boarding passes, rebooked the extra day for the car and the hotel, finished my packing. Told DH all the good news when he got back from choir practice.
SO I am out of cold snowy MD and traveling to warm sunny southern TX TOMORROW. WOOHOO!!!
I packed my fitness DVDs, my resistance bands, my fitness clothes so I am ready for my workouts.
Hope you are enjoying your time in Tx. We just got some rain you sent our way. Springing is leaping here in Louisiana and it is beautiful and is aggravating some allergies, but not too badly. We have done a lot of exploring (translated... we got lost a lot). Have fun, relax and you will be home again befoe you want to be.
