Outdoor exercise!

I bought a new pair of winter boots last week and I'm going to try them out today! I'm going to take Hemi to the farm so she can run freely, and I'm going to go up the mountain. It's only about a mile, but it's all uphill so it should be a good workout.
If that works out, I'd like to start going at least three times a week. The thing is, even though we don't have a whole lot of snow, I don't know how hard it will be to get up there. There is a snowmobile trail part way, but I may need snowshoes the rest of the way.
This will be my trial run (walk).

    Hiking up mountains is fabulous exercise, great for the heart, lungs, and legs too! Wish I could go instead of stuck inside an office. Love that crisp winter air too. Enjoy! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    I am ready to get outdoors too. Watching the Olympics makes me want to go ski!
