8 miles

What a way to jump back on the fitness wagon. I admit I have being slacking off and not doing anything that resembles cardio. First I want to thank everyone that reached out to me on my last blog, I love the support on this site. So yesterday was the February outing for Risky Fitness Friends and we went to Arabia Mountain in Lithonia Georgia, That first mile almost made me turn back but I trudged on and before I knew it I was at the 3 mile mark. I wanted to go further so I pushed myself with the help of a fellow RFF'er and made it to the 4 mile mark. I still wanted to go further but my body said NO. So we turned around and trudged the 4 miles back to where we started from so all in all I walked a little over 8 miles yesterday and boy am I feeling it today. I am going to take it easy to day and slowly work my way back into working out tomorrow. I am definitely going to have to go back to this trail because it is not going to beat me, it is a huge trail and there are many options as to which direction to go.

    8 miles is so awesome! I'm so proud of you and glad I got to be there too! I'm still feeling it myself - trying not to walk around too much like an old lady - haha! Anyway, I had a great time on Saturday! I'm glad you did too!

    That is so great I don't even know if I could walk that far I know I can do 3 miles but like you I will keep at it.
