Or 100 things to do before you die?

Or your list if you were on "Buried Life" which DH likes to watch (I never heard of it)? Two guys, who travel in a van and just do all the things they've always wanted to do.

What do you want to accomplish before your life ends?

DH wants to direct traffic at a very busy intersection in New York City. And travel the Pan American Highway, from the tip of Argentina to, well, Canada? Alaska? Somewhere north. And go back to Israel.

I want to drive across Africa, north to west, across to east, and up to north. I want to go on one of those programs where you help feed and rehabilitate baby lions or leopards or cheetahs in the southeastern part of Africa. I want to go back to Paris and spend a week in the Louvre. And, well, yes, I'll travel the Pan American Highway. I'd also like to have my portrait painted by a really good artist. And maybe take a cooking class (or several) in cool places like Tuscany and Provence and other regions known for their wonderful food.

So - what's on your list? Things you hope to accomplish or do? No matter how far-fetched they might be? What's on your list?

    Losing weight one day would be nice.
Go to India.
Find a buyer and a good price for my rubbish house.
Decide where I want to live and do it.
Accept who and what I am.
be with or near animals all the time.
Be famous for something worth being famous for as long as it is a good thing. lol.

    You've got me thinking! All sequential, righ? (and thanks for your comments on my blog: but you ARE thinking "sequentially" and you have accomplished so much).

And -- supposing you drive north to Canada with your husband AND get your portrait painted -- here's the link to my absolute favourite Canadian portrait artist. Her work is phenomenal and she is an amazing human being; the two are connected, of course!!

    Ever since I saw the movie, I have thought about doing this. I've always wanted to go to the Galapagos. One big dream is to take a cruise around New Zealand and visit Australia again - only this time for a month. I've also wanted to drive from the east coast to the west coast - actually, I'd like to visit every state! Now that would take some time. I'm sure I could just keep listing.....one that I would want to add now is to have a gathering of all sparkfriends - how awesome would that be!

    I really want to own a dog. I know it seems so simple to most people, but it is really not practical for me now. I am already 1 pet over the limit and I live in a condo so I don't think it would be fair to the dog (or the cats). So one day, I won't to have a dog. A corgi. Named Mindy.

    I just have to LOL at your DH wanting to direct traffic, how random is that? emoticon

Anyhoo, just a couple of mine are to run a full marathon (hopefully I'll accomplish that this october), finally do my first open water swim triathlon, scuba dive, go to Italy, New Zealand, Tahiti and Austria, indoor sky dive (don't know if I could do it from a plane), and live in Hawaii. emoticon

    Yeah, some of those items will need to wait until I'm retired, so I can spend six months travelling. And it also means I'll need to stay in good health until then (and beyond).

I forgot to add see penguins in their natural environment - maybe the Galapagos, maybe the Falklands. I think I could skip Antarctica, LOL!

    I think that my list is too long to print. And I am constantly saying that I need to cut back my work hours so that I can do things that are meaningful. Problem is that then I won't have the money to do those very things! Maybe I should put "find the right balance in life" as #1 on the list.
