I have been a pretty sedentary person for most of my adult life but in retirement, I've taken on activity as my main event of the day. Today I walked over 3 miles, did yardwork for 70 minutes (pulling weeds, clipping trees and bundling branches), did 20 minutes of leaf raking and later did upper body weight work out with 8 lb weights. This is the most activity I have recorded in just about ever! And the funny thing is that is felt GOOD! My husband and I are hoping to keep this up in the long run.
