Wow, the dinner sounds delicious, but I think I'd also be dreading the scales. Still, I bet you don't do this very often, so hopefully there won't be too much damage to make up for. Get in some extra exercise and it's sure to help!

Hugs,
Lucky

Well since you already ate it.. I hope you ate enough for all of us :)

Don't worry we all have these events that try to derail our focus.. just hop back into your routine...

Don't focus on emoticon alone. Go by how you are feeling as well. Even if you don't see what you'd like to see on that box in the morning, stay focused and know that YOU CAN DO THIS! Don't let it rule you and your journey!

Suggestion: weigh in tomorrow like usual, then weigh in on Sunday after a normal day's intake on Saturday, and see if there's a significant difference.

In any case...

Remember: any extra # on the scale is simply the weight of the food from the baby shower, and NOT a real gain in your body, okay?! (It doesn't work that fast.)

Hang in there. You will be fine. I know how you feel. One day will not make or break you. Tomorrow just mae sure you are on plan 100%.

I am going awy to my sisters next weekend. I am scared. I am not scared of eating over my ranges while I am away. I am mostly scared of not getting back on track once I get back.

Best wishes for you weigh-in. No matter what. You are a SUCCESS and such an inspiration to us all

It's going to be just fine, it usually takes about 48 hrs for anything to show up on mine, hope it's the same for yours ! Take care and don't worry to much about the numbers, after all they're just numbers.

You no the battle isn't won or lost over one bad meal. If it was my battle would have ended sometimes last week. You will do OK - don't drink too much water - water retention. Who has a baby shower on a Friday night? emoticon

Drink lots of water. If the scale isn't nice tomorrow, I would have to imagine that sodium plays a BIG part in it.

You don't have anything to worry about. One meal shouldn't make too big of a dent. And even if it does, one disappointing weigh-in can't stop your great progress!

Good luck, and whatever happens, be proud of yourself for all you have accomplished.

It will be fine. One meal won't be that bad. And if the number isn't what you were hoping for, there's always the next weigh-in! *hugs*
