Falling apart?

Friday, February 19, 2010

I went to the Dr because my right arm has been going numb from my shoulder to my hand. He beat on me with a hammer. (I know that's not good grammar, but that is what he did). He thinks I have a pinched nerve and wants me to have an MRI. If that comes back normal, he wants me to see a neurologist. I don't know if it is a pinched nerve or my diabetes that is causing this, but it is getting annoying. I haven't lost strength, just some feeling. Every once in a while it feels like my whole arm is going to sleep. It has been going on for a month. I thought I slept crooked or something like that. Maybe it's just old age creeping in on me?

Alan, Im glad you're seeing a doctor about this problem. I'm hoping it's something that will be taken care of easily.

So sorry to hear that Alan. I would think it can be a pinched nerve in yoru neck causing it. After all you do work hard. I hope it goes away.

Maybe you just aren't getting enough oxygen to your arm. Can diabetes cause this? Good luck and be well!
