Hey! Here's what I do so I don't end up throwing out fresh produce :) Eat your produce at the beginning of the week and your canned/frozen at the end of the week. That way you don't waste any. I do the same for my dinners for my family. Anything that calls for fresh veggies I will cook at the beginning of the week. Also, keeping your frozen/canned stuff for the end cuts back on preparation which is nice once you get to the end of your week. By Friday, I don't want to do any complicated meals/snacks lol. Also, do you mind me asking what denomination you are? I go to church to :) I'm Baptist.

thank for the tips. I like fat free yogurt. I like to mix fat free cool whip with flavored yogurt and put it on fresh fruit ( cantaloupe, strawberry's honey due ect.) its really good and makes a great desert. emoticon

I always seem to have trouble getting my recommended amount of protein so I started eating jerky (I prefer the terriyaki kind). It's about 90 calories for an ounce, protein with some carbs. Just watch out for the sodium amount (some brands have a huge amount of salt in them). And Jerky is chewy and somewhat salty so it forces me to eat it slowly and drink my water.

Great vlog girl.. good choices on your snacks, my suggestion is maybe stay to the raw side of any kind of snacks. Mostly because you can eat and eat and not have many calories (or sodium) at all. Or maybe make a fruit smoothie and freeze it. They are wonderful. Sis and I made one last night and added baby spinach (yeah sounds nasty) but it was yummy and we got LOTS of the nutrients our body needed, with all the calories and junk..

Ok time for a shower and work. Keep it up, great motivation to others girls..and WELCOME AGAIN..

Love & hugs
Teresa

Great Vlog as always!! Thanks so much for the snack ideas!
Wal-Mart has litte bags of sliced apples and apples and grapes. I love those and it helps get some fruit in.

Those are some of my favorite snacks too. I think I might try the canned peaches and divide into containers and then put them in the frig. That would work for the kids too.

Another snack idea are those Quaker Rice Cakes (they have flavored ones) and spread some smart balance peanut butter on them (1TBS) They are delicious.

Jello is another great snack as well, and you can add a little cool whip free for some added flavor.

I always enjoy your blogs and thanks for sharing.

ahhaha "I could eat the can in 3 seconds!" :) I love that!!

I LOVE the pudding snacks and I'm gonna have to try the dark chocolate ones frozen! Those are SUPER good with free cool whip on top too!

I also love string cheese and the little cups of mandarin oranges.

    Hi Adrienne,

I loved your blog and your ideas, thank you! Some of the snacks you mentioned were already in my repertoire... but I will try those chocolate Jello cups-- they sound yummy!
I of course resort to low cal yogurts a lot (fiber one now has some that are only 50 calories a cup!). I also like the special K bars, especially when I have super-little time while I am at work (I teach at a local uni).
Thanks again, and keep it up!
