fluids only!

Wednesday, February 17, 2010

well managed to get to talk to my mans surgeon today.he said that when my man comes home for the first three weeks at least he is to have fluids means there is less pressure for me re cooking(my man will only eat tunisian food and if anyone knows about tunisian food they will say even though it is nice it is very time consuming)i am considering joining him on the fluids only thinking he might appreciate the company and it might help jump start my weight loss again.having said that i will still have to cook for the kids and i don´t know how well i can keep to fluids only.what do you lot say?will it be easy or hard?will it be safe when only for a few weeks?i just thought if i did it with my husband it might make it easier for him.

Well it sounds like it's going to be a nice break from the cooking. But it might be difficult since you are still cooking for the kids. Good Luck!

Glad you will get a break from hard cooking!! I don't know anything about "tunisian" food!! It is intriguing though!!!! Is he from Tunisia?? Was his surgery serious?? Glad he is doing well!!!! Be sure to add protein powder to whatever liquids you prepare and check with the hospital dietician for recipes for a liquid diet that is nutritious!! It can be done, but is not easy!! Hang in there, you can manage through all this!!!!

Just make sure that you get enough nutrients, just fluids can be lacking in the proper vitamins etc. Good Luck emoticon
