Feed stray animals - and kitty trivia

Wednesday, February 17, 2010

Did you know that cats have 39 more bones than humans? Yup, they do - 245 bones in their bodies. (Humans have 204.)

How did I get this tidbit of trivia?

Every day, I go to www.freekibble.com and www.freekibblekat.com - there's a daily question, and you click on your answer. Even if you get it wrong, you donate 10 bits of kibble every day. Plus you learn trivia.

So - spread the word. Ten bits of kibble for a dog or cat in a shelter doesn't make a meal. But if you and your family and your friends and your co-workers each clicks every day, we can feed all the animals in shelters across the US.

And learn interesting dog and cat trivia along the way.

Just because we're losing weight doesn't mean we can't help animals keep eating, right?

I will spread the word. How do they count the kibble to donate it. Is it large pieces or are they better at Maths than I am. lol.
