Adding weights to my weekly workouts

I am already walking 45 min 3x a week. I am losing steadily and I feel great!!! I am adding squats, and an arm-weight workout to sculpt my arms and lower body. I will do this 2x a week for 30 mins. I will work my arms with an 8 lbs dumbell 10 mins 5x a week to carve some Michelle Obama arms!!! Lol!!!
