It's back to work today. I'm so glad that I had a week off from school and work. Although, I am tired from shoveling snow. I wonder how busy we will be tonight. The roads look okay but may be icy as the night progresses.

Yesterday, my life partner and I made it to a bank to get two documents notarized. Then, he went to the post office and sent them off (registered mail).

After he came back from the post office, we went out to lunch. We went to one of our favorite restaurants and had a great meal. Of course, I went over my allotted calories BUT that's okay. I'll burn it off today at the gym. [Note: I burned 1,163 calories at the gym today.]

    Too much snow for tennis but did manage to make a pot of healthy vegetable soup. Must get in some walk time before it gets dark.

    I'm of the mind that the odd time, (and the odd time only), it is OK to go over the alloted intake numbers.
Sometimes we deserve a treat.
Now, that said, we can't let it become a habit.
