Pregnancy weight gain tracking

Friday, February 12, 2010

Here is my pregnancy weight gain tracked from doctors visits and not my home scale which is pretty unreliable.

6w = 134
7w = 134
11w = 134
13w = 138 (+4)
22w = 149 (+15)
26w = 155 (+21 lbs)
31w = 157.6 (+24 lbs)
34w = 162.4 (+28 lbs)
37w = 160 (+26 lbs)
38w = 162 (+28 lbs)
39w = 162 (+28 lbs)
delivered 39w 5d
5w post partum = 144

woohoo! Only 10 lbs over where I started. My body will probably hold onto this for awhile but I'm so pleased. Hooray for breastfeeding! Now I just have to make sure I don't gain since I'm not getting much exercise right now.

UPDATE:
4 months post partum = 138
I'm in my pre-pregnancy jeans now. Also, most of my work clothes fit, but I'm a little different shape now. emoticon

    You did great on keeping your weight in the right increments. I'm sure you look great and healthy! I agree BF makes the pounds just melt off.

    Very encouraging to see your weight dropped so quickly - I am hoping to breastfeed as well and have heard it is wonderful for getting things moving in the right direction!

    Awesome job!! I was just comparing your 31 week gain to mine and they are the same. I'd love to be able to only gain 4 from here on out, but I somehow doubt that will happen for me.

You did FANTASTIC!

    And think of it this way - you are one lb LESS than my goal weight!!!!! So, if you were me, you'd already be there!!!! (See, doesn't it make you feel better?)

    What a great job of keeping your weight in check. I'm sure once you start exercising those last 10 pounds will fall off.

    First of all CONGRATS on the baby. You are doing so good. Just try and take little walks pushing the stroller and you shouldn't have a problem gaining weight.
