I just finished reading Calories 101 and I am understanding better what my body needs, but... is 1800 cal/day too much?? I feel like it is, even though I've been pigging out today and have almost reached 1800 cal. But I have been eating around 1600 cal/day this week. ive only lost 0.6lbs this week, and is my lower cal intake a reason why?? All day long it has been bothering me. I just want to find a reason behind the small number. I worked out everyday this week so far except today. I am a bit stressed out since yesterday. Things have just been happening that aren't so pleasant lately and I am just uncomfortable and irritable, and I think that I may need a Xanax!
I tried to figure out how much cal I need to eat to lose a pound a week and it came up to be 1822 cal/day. When I did Weight Watchers 2 years ago, I had 34 points a day, and I lost about 25lbs in 12 weeks. How many calories are in 34 points?? I am so confused, I just want to know... I don't know what I want to know, I think I'm PMSng today... that's it! ARGH I wish I could just curl up in a corner and rock back n forth in the fetal position.
