Well I completed week 1 of Charlene Extreme Workout. It's a 12 week program, & I should be finished /w/ it in April sometime. I felt really great after the workout, & I truly believe it will work out good for me. The workout is intense, but I did it.
I did Cardio & Strength Training today. It's quite a bit to post what I did & it's late, so I'll post some of what I remember.
single floor tap : 20 reps
Burpees // Plyometric reverse lunges 25 reps for both of these
planks /w/ knee pulls // Jacks: 100 /// Step Straddles : 2 min.
Speed skate /w/ thigh toners
Lateral lunges /w/ raises: 25 reps per side
Football Drill: 5 min
Yoga done after cardio also
12 or 10 reps // 40 Lb BB /// 25 DB // 8 LB DB used & 5 LB DB
Sumo squats /w/ hip lifts
Lunges /w/ posterior fly
push ups /w/ leg lifts
Dead lifts /w/ posterior fly
lunge /w/ core rotation
bench press /w/ leg lower
squats /w/ side bends & a set very slow
forward lean lunge /w/ fly & 1 set slow 5 lbs
chest flyes & 1 set of push ups
That was the workout & I added to it these:
Kickboxing: 20 min
Core balance exercises /w/ balance pods
Squats/w/ pods & 5 lb DB: 20 reps
Sit ups /w/ med ball & crunches /w/ med ball & stability ball, reverse crunches
Well that was my workout today & I felt great afterward & all day.
I think this workout will work for me.
Wish me luck! I've been pushing this off for 6 months & finally yelled at myself to get up & do it.
