I have been trying out different wraps and I picked up these Kangaroo Pita Pockets. While not completely clean they have only one preservative instead of the 10+ that are in my favorite flatbread.
I had one for lunch yesterday and I had it with hummus and veggies inside.
Then for lunch today I had it again, this time with all-fruit jam, strawberries, banana, and all-natural peanut butter. (Sorry the picture turned out blurry for some reason.) The taste is fine, but I really miss the texture of the flatbreads. I love my bread soft and chewy!
I still love the Food Should Taste Good potato chips. I really like that they don’t have all of the chemicals of the Baked Lay’s I loved so dearly. And they are a MILLION times better than Pop Chips and Kettle Chips which taste like pure grease to me. I even tried the baked version of Kettle Chips and all it tastes like is salt, grease, with some more salt…and grease!
Oh, but back to liking my bread soft and chewy. I am trying to find a good swap for Texas Toast. I love me some garlic bread! It is just the best side for spaghetti! But I know it’s full of junk. Ugh, what to do…what to do?
Also, Aubrey and I are still using up our Ragu. I love that there are no chunks in it (my pet peeve when it comes to sauces...chunks!) I am still looking into a tomato-based sauce that won’t taste like tomatoes! I know, I’m quite picky when it comes to my foods! I always wished that I could be more easy-going, but it never quite seems to work out for me!
My ranch dressing is still awesome and I added some green onion on top for extra flavor.
Well, now I’m going to go take care of my poor sick hubby. Although I think he’s secretly loving getting to play his video games all day long. =P
