I've been working out harder then usual, trying to get comfortable with the starting point of my half marathon training plan. I've been so tired that after my weekend work outs I don't feel like doing much else. I had been sore for the past couple of weeks.
I had been working through my rest days. You know how you read those articles in Runner's World and they work out every day? So I decided I should be doing more.
Well I finally took a rest day and boy do I feel great! I feel so refreshed and my legs actually feel happy. Plus I'm already looking forward to tomorrow's run.
I guess I can't compare myself to what others are doing. My rest days are important and I need to keep taking them.
