Yuck! How did I do that before all the time?!

Monday, February 08, 2010

Ok, so yesterday I just told myself I was going to eat whatever I wanted while watching the Superbowl. I ordered pizza and a little pizza apple pie dessert from Papa John's (my all-time favorite pizza place, well besides Imo's). My dad came over and I ate 4 pieces of pineapple/green pepper pizza and a serving of the apple pie.

About 30 minutes later when it all hit my stomach I felt like I was going to puke it all up everywhere and I was kinda hoping I would, but I didn't. I hate puking, but I would've gladly puked up all those disgusting calories. I used to eat that same meal, minus the apple pie thing, several times a month. But after like 3 weeks of eating around 1500 calories for the WHOLE day, which consists of healthy food, my body freaked out! That entire meal last night was the equivalent in calories to what I consume in an entire day.

So, I learned my lesson. I can't eat like I used to eat even if I want to. I should've just eaten 2 pieces and skipped the pie and I would have, had I known how my body was going to react.

Your hubby is going to be very surprised when he comes home! I remember those days. You have fun with your two beautiful little girls, and keep up the fight!

I'm the same every time i eat junk even if i made room for it in my cals, i feel sick as a dog, Next time make home-made pizza or or in something special, like some good Thai food or good Indian (from at good restaurant) and have alittle, and i'll bet all the jumping around and cheer probably didn't help?

It is great when our bodies react in a "positive" way to our good choices...and let us know when something is NOT a good choice. At least you know your limits...AND you have proof positive of your progress!!

You know what ? You listened to your body, that was your lesson one I learned myself just yesterday too. It's funny how that works isn't it ? Well best to find out in one day then it taking a lot longer and adding a lot of pounds to our frames I suppose. Good for you ! I know you'll remember that feeling and not do it again, just like me. Yes, I hope you are feeling better today. Take care.

EESH - well I do hope you are feeling better now... it is kinda funny how the body will accept the bad if that's all it gets... and completely reject it if it knows something better exists.

Hope you are feeling better now. On the bright side you can say that you ate a total of 3 vegetable / fruit servings right there. LOL

Hope you did have a great time though, even if you had to pay later for it. emoticon
