So my blog today is in regards to weekly weigh ins.... I worked out hard last week... I watched my food intake...and exspected success once I stepped on the scale friday afternoon for my weekly weigh in. To my surprise i was 2 pounds heavier...and all though i know that this could be muscle gain... the two pounds wreaked havoc on my motivation.... to be honest I couldn't stop thinking about it all weekend. When I first started working out my spark mentor did say that it's not so much about the number on the scale but how you feel.... The effort that you are putting in on a daily basis to eat right and get in the gym. Some how I became so obsessed with the number on the scale ...and everything else became less important. So I've decided though weekly weigh ins may be keep others motivated and on the ball... This method isin't going to work for me. I need to be more focused on how I am feeling before a workout and after... Be more in tune with my body and less with what the scale says .
