I just got My Fitness Coach for the Wii. It was just $16 on amazon and I had heard such great reviews of it that I decided to try it.
I put it in and filled out my whole little profile thing. It asks like the standard questions- gender, birthdate, height, weight, then also measurements and does some fitness tests to see your heartrate which I totally had so much trouble finding my pulse lol. Then I got to choose my goal which was weight loss and fill in the days I wanted to work out and for how long.
I really really loved it. It does give you this special feeling like having your own personal trainer just for you and focused on your needs, strengths, weaknesses. A great step up from a normal fitness DVD. lol I sound like a commercial. I am just excited though lol.
I did alittle 15 min workout with it as well.
15 mins isnt long ofcourse but it had some cardio, some lunges and ended with child pose and a stretch. So that was cool.
It also lets you pause & choose tutorial at any time if you dont get something. And you can spend as long as you want on the tutorial which I liked.
Also at the end of each little mini section she asks you how difficult it was. And you can choose just right, too easy or too hard. And if you choose too easy or too hard then she will adjust it for next time!
So yeah I loved it! I made up a schedule to use it 30 mins Wed-Sun for now. Even at the end she was like ok I will see you Wednesday. I was omg neat! lmao
Anyways other things havent been so well. I have been doing much better. Alot less bingeing yay. Most of my salad stuff went to waste because I barely ate it :( I made ravioli for DH and me one night and ate quite a bit. Yesterday i did really bad. I probably ate half a loaf a bread in grilled cheese sandwhiches :(
But I am in this mindframe and working on it. I decided one more week of just focusing on me and getting my house back in order (being depressed really plays a roll on housework front lol) and then I will go back to calorie counting.
