Creating a New Me!

Sunday, February 07, 2010

Right here and now I am making a commitment to myself: I am going to make changes in my lifestyle in order to live a healthier, happier more energetic life.

From the my major motivations assignment I have come up with some incentives to keep me focused on this journey.

Personal Appearance: I want to: Look better naked!

Health & Fitness: I want to: Live longer •Have more energy

Friends, Family and Social Life: I want to: Do more active things with my spouse •Knock ‘em dead at my reunion!

Everyday Signs and Situations: I want to: Be more confident in myself, with better self esteem•Fly, ride a roller coaster or go to a movie without feeling squashed or using a seatbelt extender

And especially - Prove to myself that I can do it.

I know that this will not be a fast and easy process. But I commit to coming here for help, inspiration, motivation and accountability.

Best wishes on your weight-loss journey. My motivations are pretty similar. Good idea to include them in your blog. I think writing your reasons and expressing that commitment will help you succeed. If you ever have a day when you feel like giving up, come back to this post to remind yourself of why it is that you embarked on this journey in the first place. emoticon

Great goals, well thought out. Now, put a fire under your feet and take the first step! You can do this with Christ. Lean on Him, not your own understanding(Prov. 3:5) In the midst of His amazing grace, Chris
