Today was my first long run, 1.5 hours... I am currently going by time not distance my goal is run for 2.5 hours... that should get me to 13 miles. Today I ran 6.5. Not too bad for my first time out. At one point I could not make myself start running again! So I walked further than my original plan, but I feel PROUD about this accomplishment today. And I am still feeling sore from Fridays workout!
For the rest of Feb. I will be doing the long run for 1.5 hours, then in March I will be running for 2. This is on top of the hour I run 3 days a week!! I will get there, I am not worried. So I am trying to decided which 1/3 should be my First. I am training like I will be Running the San Diego Rock n Roll 1/2 Marathon on June 6th... But I am not sure yet.... I am going to run the Los Angels Rock-n-Roll 1/2 in October. I think my brother will be running that too. FUN!
