Wow, I got lost in the fog and clog of a head cold that lasted for a week...the old grey mare ain't what she used to be. I wasn't able to or didn't track my meals; forget about exercise - I was just trying to breathe. What I gained was some of those pounds I had worked hard to lose...a relaspse. I knew, though, that you are to feed a cod, starve a beaver. I had the cold, not the feed, feed, feed. A relaspse! Well, I am back to change my relaspe into re-laps. Yep, I am running the sparkpeople track again. Thank you for the steamy, delicious soup sparkgoodie KUKANA410. There were smiles in that soup.

Just happened to stop by your blog and I must say I fully understand how you felt when you had a cold -- and I especially enjoyed your comment about "the old grey mare" -- funny!!! I'm an "old grey mare" and just got over a good case of the bronchitis -- never had it before (don't want it again!) -- I had to give up exercise b/c I simply couldn't do much w/o wheeezing and I don't like that feeling! I spent alot of time resting and the antibiotics didn't set well -- so eating was reduced to whatever sounded like it wouldn't add to the nausea -- it was a couple of weeks being off program --- I don't like it that way! But I did learn to appreciate my healthier lifestyle that I've been working so hard to establish -- so I guess that's the blessing inside the bronchitis!!!

Glad you're back on track --- and remember -- Spring IS coming -- who knows when --- but it IS!!!!! Yeah!!!!

emoticon emoticon emoticon --- all gone!

emoticon emoticon emoticon --- coming soon!!!!

YUCK!! I am so glad that you are feeling better now! I was just talking about something similar to this earlier this week...what in the WORLD do you do if you start feeling/get sick!? I think you did the right thing, because you are now feeling better...who KNOWS how long it would drag out if you hadn't?

So, jump back in where you are right now, and start plugging along. That gain will be a distant memory before you know it! emoticon
