So yes, there's a bit of a snow storm going on outside. And, yes, DH decided to go brave the fronts to go to the grocery store for work about 20 minutes ago-not too thrilled about this but he does have a strong worth ethic!
However, this morning February is feeling GREAT! I have lost 4 lbs for the week and this puts me with my first

for the month. I wanted to reach the 280's and now I have! How wonderful is that? What a great way to start out my snowy Saturday. This makes me look forward to my Snow Shoveling Workout I have planned for later today. I know that this will work all my muscle groups and I am planning to bend at the knees and take it easy on my back. I will probably go out there twice today so I will start with 45 minutes late this morning/early this afternoon. The snow is supposed to be falling until around 10 pm tonight.
So I have hit 289 as of this morning. Part of me wants to hit 285 as my next goal. But you know, I'm just going to focus on my fast break goals for right now. I also want to focus on daily tracking. But for right now, I will focus on my current fast break goals. After weigh in next week, I am going to add in the tracking as an add'l fast break goal. It's definitely a little harder for me to be consistent with that. And right now, I want to focus on being consistent with my exercising!
Anyone who is feeling frustrated with the way their journey is going, I would say that being consistent and concentrating on a few fast break goals is key. It may be slow but it's steady and THAT my friends is what wins the race. Success is NOT a race. It's about progress NOT perfection. So don't let your current plight bring you down. Today's a new day and there's an opportunity to start fresh every day. Don't get discouraged. Remain steadfast & strong. You can do absolutely ANYTHING that you CONSISTENTLY set your mind too! I feel

and so should you! We are making positive changes to ourselves mentally AND physically!
WE CAN DO THIS!
