Feeling FIne :)

Friday, February 05, 2010

When 30 Jan rolled around it was a wonderful thing! I saw my baby for the first time on the 3D ultrasound. He was a little character! He yawned, stuck out his tongue, smiled, winked, all that good stuff. I just couldn't stop looking at his pictures or the DVD when we got home. Can't wait for him to get here. The pictures and my upcoming baby shower in two weeks makes it all seem all the more real.

School is going fine as well. I'm worknig very well with my groups, and they are sympathetic to my issues. In fact, there is another pregnant lady in my second class group. She is due after me and after class, but she doesn't mind being in the group with me and getting stuff done ahead of time.

I'm also still working out. I did a circuit class this week that kicked my butt! I haven't done weights in a long time, and my lower body was so sore afterwards. In a good way, of course. I think I will pull out a Kathy Smith DVD tonight so that I can ease back into strength training. Or maybe the Firm. I've got some pink Firms that I need to test drive. I didn't really get into the older Firms, but these newer ones look pretty good to me.

I will be getting up early tomorrow to go to my step aerobics class. I'm so proud of myself! These past two Saturdays (well, not last Saturday, but the two before that) I've been getting up at 0800 to be at the 0900 step aerobics class. It's been a lot of fun, and incredbily doable. I have become an unintended inspiration to the other ladies in class, and some have even brought friends out. They want to see "the pregnant lady" working out and keeping up with the rest of the class. I find it funny, but it also makes me feel happy that I'm an inspiration :)
