So, how DID it go with my three goals?

It is not a wonder that when you commit clearly to goals, write them down, envision their success, that despite all obstacles, you CAN achieve your goals. In fact, that is precisely why I blogged about it yesterday. It was one of the most difficult in my career and if anything was going to derail me, yesterday would have derailed me.

I kept my three goals figuratively pounding through my head as my feet literally pounded the sidewalk. I had parked far away to help me get my 10,000 steps in.

FIT: I put in over over 16,000 steps. I took a long brisk walk (60 minutes) and went to the gym for another 45+ minutes and I did not multi-task. Every thing that needed me to walk got its own time for me to walk! (I learned that trick from another SP member.) I was careful about my stretching after both.

FOCUS: I tracked everything that went in my mouth and found that I did great. Except.. argh.. I keep having a problem getting enough protein.

FAITH: I let myself think good thoughts like "you can be strong, you can do this, you are a good person ... " My three goals are rooted in my belief in myself.

So, it was a good day for my goals. Lesson: think it, write it, tell it, believe it.

MANTRA: With a clear goal, I will make it into the 10% group... I know I can.
I'll keep this mantra for a while longer and then I need to move onto another one.
