Day 4 And Feeling Geeerrreaaat!

Thursday, February 04, 2010

Well today I've had great discussions with God and I got in 60 minutes of exercise! I walked about 14 minutes at work and then got in about 46 minutes of walking at my Mom's. I'm feeling emoticon emoticon and just plain ole' FANTABULOUS. It was great to be in the great outdoors. Yes, it was a little cold out but it was great. I came away feeling so positive and seeing my life for what it is and being thrilled with it!

While I was walking I kept playing over and over this Jesus song that Emma has on cd. I can't think of the title but it goes a little something like this:

I've got that joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart...
Down in my heart...
Down in my heart...

I've got that joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart...
Down in my heart...
Down in my heart to staaaayyyy...

And I'm so happy, so very happy....
I've got the love of Jesus in my heart....

So while I'm walking I kept playing this song over & over in my head. It was really great! I love how positive I am feeling. I have to go home and get some dinner. I've had one f/v serving-some carrots before I left work. I will have a banana and spinach before I hit the pillow tonight.

I finished 80oz of water before I had left work at 530 today. So I'm feeling good and the energy is flowing. Once again, I am staying serious, feeling focused & motivated! I LOVE IT! What a wonderful addiction exercise is!

Tomorrow we are supposed to be getting a huge snow storm. It's supposed to be btwn 16-24 inches. It's going to start around 9 am. I will probably go in for about 3 hrs or so and then head back. The snow is supposed to last until late Saturday night. So I'm going to try and go hit Wegman's tonight. But I'm also toying with going after I get off from work in the morning with the hope that most of the crazies are out today. I am not sure the better way to do this. I need to stock up on fruits & veggies so I can keep 'em coming during the snowed in time! I know I will be getting in 50+ minutes over the weekend with no problem. All that snow shoveling will be getting me in even better shape!

I am in it to win it!

WE CAN DO THIS! emoticon emoticon

Look at you go girl! Now you know why I sometimes exercise like a maniac! It does become addictive. It's a way better addiction than sitting around eating all day! And guzzling that H2O...AMAZING!!!!!! You rock!

We are supposed to get the storm around 4 PM tomorrow. They are calling for 6 to 12 inches here in Pittsburgh. I am trying to figure out work and the grocery store and getting home before it really kicks in tomorrow. I have enough food here but I need to make sure I enough of the good for me stuff.

Man, that's a lot of water, girl...you're gonna swim away! Just kidding...i'm jealous- I really need to up my water so now I'll think of you.
It's so great to hear you on such a high from your exercise! It's amazing how terrific it can make you feel!

Hope the storm doesn't cause any major problems for you and your family (other than just having to stay home and stay warm). Don't forget to get some healthy stuff at Wegmans for the Superbowl on Sunday!

Nice job on the getting addicted to exercise. I feel addicted to my new healthy life style now too. Perhaps the weight isn't coming off as fast as I would like (I'd actually like it to be gone in one day, hehe) but I find that I'm actually teaching my friends and family a healthier way to live now too. I was just telling my sister today that I'm happy that it's taking me a long time to lose the weigh because I'm learning how to eat healthy for the first time in my life. emoticon emoticon

Hey Simone! I'll probably see you at Wegman's :-) I'm headed there later tonight after hopefully the crowd dies down. DH was at Safeway a little bit ago and the lines were all the way back to the meat. Between the monster storm which now says 18-24 inches, and the Super Bowl....

We are closing at noon tomorrow too, but I'm working from home. I have an appt with our IT person at 9 tonight to configure my laptop to connect to the work server so I can access the appt software and EMR from home. I gave the answering service my number, so instead of the girls turning the phones over to the office tomorrow, the service will call me with all messages. I'm SO happy to not have to drive home in it....especially after getting stuck for 3 hours last time.

Good plan you have there for your veggies! Hope you enjoy your day. Look at all the AP's we can get for shoveling :-)
