Last Day!

Today is my last day on the 30 Day Meltdown!!!!! emoticon

I have loved the challenge and I definitely have benefitted from it. I am stronger and leaner. After trying training and then running a 4-mile race and working out 60 minutes a day and still not losing weight, I was ready to try something new.

I found the diet and the exercising 4 times a day very challenging but worth it. I would have preferred to have a break in the strength training because my muscles just never seemed to recover. I often had a little swelling in my sore muscles. I expect that when I take a break from the training, I may lose more weight as my body finishes healing. The fat loss made it all worth while since I finally had a breakthough in my weight loss plan.

I am looking forward to a rest day tomorrow before I start the new routine. I'm looking forward to adding foods back in to my diet and to running again! I've limited myself to 20 - 30 minutes on the treadmill when I did run during the month.

I think I will miss the Meltdown community and all the tips and support I received from them. And I will miss the notes and videos from Dax Moy http://www.londonpersonaltrain

They have been helpful and encouraging. Although I won't miss doing the Meltdown routine every day, I loved his recording that kept me going during the routine!

Someday I'll have to make a trip to London to meet Dax, my london personal trainer!
